One great bottle/ drinking place. Great staff and terrific brews at the ready to take home. You can drink there and they have some great servers. I will be back.

Small bottle shop in Little Italy. Nice combination of good selection and reasonable prices. They don’t have the selection of Clems but way cheaper. Nice blend of local (Ballast, Stone, Alesmith) and international (Mikkeller).

I’ve been here many times and never disappointed. Since it’s opening it has increased it’s selection nicely. It’s staff is friendly and knowledgeable. So far I’ve found a tasty barrel aged beer in the cooler every time to drink there. I definitely recommend stopping in.

Bottlecraft is a jewel just outside of downtown San Diego. Friendly, knowledgeable, passionate owner. Great ambiance, tables and stools, you can taste what you buy. Free wi-fi (I’m supposed to be working right now...), and a fantastic beer selection. Also, prices are VERY good. You won’t be disappointed!

Very nice bottle shop in the Little Italy section of San Diego. Parking is metered, somewhat expensive. Nice interior atmosphere. Retail but with an on-premiss license. Decent prices as well. A few meads and ciders as well as a few beers I haven’t seen before. Great local selection. A few cool items including a Fantome Tulip that I was able to buy. They also offer beer flights, but as of yet have no taps. Worthy stop if you are in the area. Kind of has a wine store/tasting room vibe which is a nice thing for craft beer.

Stopped in here on vacation. They were running a beer class at the time so they weren’t doing flights but the service was good. They have chilled bottles you can buy and open on the spot and bring in your own food. They can also chill the room temp bottles for you in about 10 minutes to go or to stay. The selection isn’t huge but any place with 3 different fantome styles is going to get high marks for selection from me! If I lived anywhere near here I would be cracking a bottle and bringing my own pizza from the little italy pizzerias all the time. I like this idea a lot.

Originally Happened upon this place by accident. Awesome little idea...beer shop where you can sample bottles on premises. Reminds me a lot of city beer in san francisco...but no taps, at least not yet. Wasn’t impressed with the selection the first time around but went back a month or two later and the selection is about 300x improved. There’s nothing mind-blowing but there was several bottles I have not seen elsewhere in town, including several japanese craft brews. I was going to buy a few of the new mikkellar hop series beers but they had actually had a flight of the 4 they had for $11, so I went that route...nice that they do flights of their bottled beers so you can sample a bunch without having to drop a ton of money on full bottles. This place is getting better already, im very hopeful...i want them to continue to try to improve their selection though.
