| Serendipitiai (10), California | | March 11, 2012 Ok place if you just want to catch a game with a few friends and have a local brew, just not theirs. Food, service and decor all need much improvement. | | Sledutah (151), Utah | | October 14, 2010 They have a new brewmaster (previously from RR and The Bruery), so they only had 2 of their beers on tap plus 2 guest beers. They have 2 others coming out soon. I didn’t try the food. A nice big L shaped bar with about 6 TV’s above the bar.The main room has plenty of seating inside and on the patio. The back room has a few tables and a pool table. This looks like it would be a nice party place, maybe when they get some new beers on. | | Brewman63 (39), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | September 24, 2010 Only had one or two local brews on tap, which were just okay. Food wasn’t bad, wasn’t great either, but the prices were reasonable. Would only go back if in the area, and then only for one or two drinks. Wouldn’t make a special trip to it. | | daknole (204), Scottsdale, Arizona | | August 2, 2010 They were out of almost every tap beer. I gave bonus points for the very hot bartender.
| | IrishBoy (82), Bakersfield, California | | May 26, 2010 Great food and good brews with some great guest taps. My Ahi sandwich with the wasabe mayo was excellent! | | DeadGirl (76), La Jolla, California | | April 5, 2010 [ Updated May 12, 2010 ] Came for lunch on a Sunday and the place was deserted. We had a coupon, so we decided to eat outside. I had a pint of the IPA and ordered the Ahi tuna salad. Our table ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. Oh dear. The dip is cream cheese with badly burnt mozz cheese on top. Nobody liked it. The tuna came out over well done. On the upside, the service was great/ staff super friendly... which may not be saying much as we were the only table the entire time we were there. Overall consensus is that this place was a little lackluster and needs some good weekly events to liven things up. | | Snojerk321 (53), San Diego, California | | December 7, 2009 Some random good stuff on tap, and a few gems from the house brewer. His beers to really seem to be hit or miss. Some really good bartenders, a few don’t know what the hell is going on..... | | JohnnyJ (94), San Diego, California | | August 20, 2009 Eeehh. They only had 3 beers on tap when I went. The IIPA was pretty good. Others are marginal. Pretty standard place, nothing to complain about, just not much there. Not a destination, but a nice place to stop by if you have time. | | Rastacouere (581), Montréal, Quebec | | June 30, 2009 While not that close to the beach, this brewpub feels like a surfer’s chalet with its all-wooden interior, giant TV screens and . It’s actually much larger than it seems from the outside. We ate on their small terrace outside, a place which did not seem to interest any of the dozen of other patrons. Even the terrace had an annoying 60 inches or so TV screen. The small part of the staff we’ve seen consisted pretty much of girls who might well be in next year’s swimsuite Sports Illustrated. The serice was still prompt and friendly considering we sat alone outside. Quite varied beer range, not so many of them (though adding the 8-10 tap guests gives a nice total), but interesting styles like a Belgian Brown are not that common in the area. Not a place I’d spend hours in, but it’s more or less between San Diego and Solana Beach, so stop in if your time is not too limited. | | hopdog (220), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | December 9, 2008 Kinda of a hole in the wallish, sports bar feel to it. Looking at the web site and reading some other reviews, I was expecting for them to have between 5-8 house beers and half hoping for an IPA or IIPA. Guess what? I was severly let down. They only had 3 house beers on tap. At least 2 of the 3 were stronger beers and happen to be 2 beers that I missed out on at the Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival. Some guest beers on tap, but my beef is, if you call yourself a brewpub, have more than 3 house beers on tap...I mean really. Food was OK, nothing to write home about or really go back specifically for. |
