| Ungstrup (335), Oamaru, New Zealand | | November 16, 2010 Stopped here for lunch and beer. I only managed to sample 4 beers I hadn’t tried before, from their mainstream assorment, so they were boring, but I really like their heavy stuff which comes out bottled. The pizza was OK and the service was friendly. The place was quite dark. | | Sammy (408), Toronto, Ontario | | February 9, 2007 Summary: The only place in Del Mar for a good beer, and good selection.
This is a suburban location, easy to get to if you are in San Diego. a medium sized place with an average size bar, maybe 15 taps including 6 guest taps. I noticed California having competitor taps quite a bit which is impressive. This is a family-oriented place with high-school video games, but mature people were there and drinking.
Average service, I had to wait a while to be served, compared to Pizza Plant. No special glassware.
| | MIBRomeo (125), Wisconsin | | March 11, 2006 Good atmosphere, lots of tv’s good beer, but selection is a bit short but had some quality. I wasn’t overly impressed with what i had to eat but Blake’s food was good as hell. I’d reccomend checking it out. | | 1FastSTi (102), Glendale, Wisconsin | | March 11, 2006 Visited here with my friend Chuck. Decent place. The "waitress" was really the bartender who also had to wait 10 tables. Somehow, she managed. A little slow to wait, but I totally understand. The beer was good. With a good variety. I had the Wimbeldon pizza and the mozzerella sticks. Delicious. I’d come back if in the neighborhood. |
