| Magicdave6 (49), London, England | | January 25, 2006 Recently vistited on a trip to St Andrews. Decent sellection on beers for scotland. Guy was playing chess while i was waiting to get served so maybe not the best service, but adds that friendly atmosphere you dont get in glasgow. | | M0RHI (25), Luxembourg, Luxembourg | | January 21, 2006 Possibly one of my favourite pubs in St Andrews. The cellar and Aikmans are both unpretentious and sometimes have a folk band or similar on. Really friendly atmosphere. The staff are always nice and will talk at length about their ales, and let you try a sample of each before you buy, so you can make your mind up. They have several rarer ales and bottled beers, great selection. | Jrat19 (1), St Andrews, Scotland does not count - explanation | | December 2, 2005 Lovely place for the rarer German and Belgian beers, quite pricey even by St Andrews standards but always a good simple atmoshpere. | | badgerben (78), Blaine, Minnesota | | January 4, 2004 [ Updated April 10, 2004 ] The Cellar is a very bare bones pub, but they stock excellent beers from all over Europe. It is an ever rotating list so check the website. |
