| downender (116), Bristol, England | | July 11, 2009 Visited 1/7/09. Large pub by the M8 motorway. Decent range of beers with a mixture of English (Highgate, Hop Back) and Scottish (BrewDog, Houston, Williams Brothers). Food was very good value, especially the £4.50 for two course special. Staff were efficient. Worth a visit. | | Jonte (31), Gothenburg, Sweden | | February 26, 2009 Visited oct/nov 2008. Big selection of cask ales. Also some single malt whisky. The burger was ok. | | cgarvieuk (24), Edinburgh, Scotland | | May 14, 2008 A nice enough, quite large boozer with a decent selection of ales | BoozyBugger (3), Glasgow, Scotland does not count - explanation | | January 14, 2008 Excellent beer, good grub (the yorkshire pudding is brilliant on a winters day!), good selelction. Who can ask for more? | | SHIG (81), Aviano, Italy | | December 5, 2007 Last stop on the Ultimate Glasgow tasting afters pub crawl. The selections of casks were very nice. There was a band playing and the place provided room at the bar as well as tables. Nice place to finish the night. | | rlgk (80), Vårgårda, Sweden | | September 6, 2007 Visited during RBESG 2007. Very good selection on casks. Nice place with the bar separated from the tables we used. Decent food that was very cheap. | | Sigmund (77), Hafrsfjord, Norway | | August 28, 2007 Visited during the RBESG 2007. Decent real ale pub, quite busy. Okay food at reasonable prices. | | Ungstrup (245), Frederiksberg, Denmark | | August 27, 2007 A nice pub with a medium bar area and a good seating area for eating, very traditional with game maschines and sports on tv. The food was nice and extremely cheap - two courses for 4 £. Visited twice got 6 new beers. | | M0RHI (26), Luxembourg, Luxembourg | | August 26, 2007 Nice boozer, not far from the beaten path. Ale selection was good, but it was the usual suspects, and I’d had all bar one of them. Food was good, but I had the fish and it was absolutely RIDDLED with bones, so avoid that. Everyone else seemed to enjoy the other stuff though. Staff were good, knowlegeable, but service felt a little rushed, even though they weren’t overly busy! Good, all in all though. | | Rastacouere (475), Montréal, Quebec | | August 26, 2007 A solid, rather large pub with a most solid selection of cask. Good prices, smiling staff. A nice place to spend an evening. |
