July 11, 2009 Visited 30/06/09. Decent pub with the focus on beer rather than food. A big selection of beers from Scotland and northern England was available, all of which were in good condition. Worth searching out when in the west end of Glasgow. |

February 26, 2009 Visited oct/nov 2008. Traditional looking pub with a large selection of real ales, also two ciders. Didn´t try the food. Cosy and genuine place. |

January 14, 2008 Good pub for Northern England beers, excellent selection of beers but not a place to take a non-beer drinker. |

December 5, 2007 Second stop on the Ultimate Glasgow tasting afters pub crawl. Nice corner pub that has a very good selection of cask ales and ciders. Enjoyed my time there. |

September 17, 2007 A very cozy corner pub - standard interior with wood paneling except for the 20 tap handles 9 of which is cask beers - of which I found 6 I hadn’t tried plus one new in a bottle - now that is a great pub. Unfortunately the place wasn’t open when I wanted to revisit on Sunday at noon - and my scheduel didn’t leave time to wait around for opening hours - whenever that is on a Sunday. |

September 6, 2007 [ Updated March 20, 2008 ] The best pub in Glasgow if you ask me. 8 real ales, and six of then had changed from thursday to sundat. Live-jazz on sundays. |

August 28, 2007 Excellent real ale pub, a fine selection of mostly well kept beers served at cellar temperature. The beer is indeed this pub’s main attraction - otherwise it’s a pretty standard (not very big) one-room pub. The Sunday afternoon live jazz was an attraction of its own, though - very nice! Food was limited to cold pork pies - they were edible, and at £1 per pie, who can complain? |

August 26, 2007 Nice boozer on a street corner, with about 9 handpulls on. Obviously receptive about what they get in too. Knowlegeable staff, well cellared beers. I’d definitely return, just for the selection of ale. |

August 26, 2007 A most excellent pub to get some English real ales. They had Brewers Gold Extra for us during the RBESG. The place also feels comfortable, a proper boozer that still attracts a varied clientele. The staff seems knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. A top Glasgow destination. |

February 27, 2007 [ Updated October 3, 2007 ] The place to go for ales in Glasgow if you want ales from england. On the other hand you could ask Ron the barman how to get to my place and come try some of my ales. |
