Hopped in for a look in December 2014, impressive selection of beers and very good service. They had the pretty highly rated Orkney brewery beer for instance, and a good selection of Belgians, several from Cantillon. Might never be back here, but if Iím back in Inverness Iíll pop in.

Visited on a Saturday morning in October 2013, just up the road past the castle from the city centre.
Solid bottle shop with a good 200+ offerings.
We were travelling by train this day around 10.45 so didnít really have time to do a shop and get to the train.
However I rang up the venue a few days before, placed an order and they opened half an hour early for me to come in and pick up my box of beers - so solid custimer service there!
Nice little shop too, we had 5 or 10 minutes to look about and picked up a few more bottles.
One cask offering for growler fills etc.
Lots of Scottish micros but plenty of decent micro picks from the UK and further craft offerings from Europe and the US, like De Molen and The Bruery.
Well wort a visit if in the Ness.

This is the best beer shop without any doubt in the North of Scotland. Great selection of beers from UK, USA, Belgium and Germany - a much needed oasis in Inverness (pretty amazing to get Kernel beers in the Highlands). Prices are reasonable, owners very friendly & helpful. Itís small but there must be around 300 different bottles available, lots of Scottish beer of course, but a good well thought out collection of craft beers from England and Wales too. A cask Cairngorm beer is usually availale too. Itís a must visit for anyone even with the slightest interest in beer.

Tomlinsonís has been around for a year now and at first I was sceptical that the locals would give this shop the custom it deserves. Iím delighted to say I was wrong to think that. Itís an outstanding store - itís certainly small, but packed with a wide range of beers from USA, Europe and an abundance of up-and-coming craft beers from UK.
Easily the best range of beers available in a shop in the North of Scotland. If youíre in the area, put this on your list as a must-visit.

Easily the best beer shop in the region.... no question! This relatively small shop located across from Inverness Castle boasts a selection of almost 250 bottled beers. The place is separated into 4 areas: US, England, Scotland and Belgium. They have a good selection all round, particularly the British stuff: Arbor, Black Isle, Tryst, Cromarty, Kernel, Moor and Thornbridge to name but a few. They also provide a draft beer/cider to take away in growlers. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. A great place and a most welcome addition to the area!
