Located at the V&A Waterfront, this bar boasts a lively scene with raucous college aged S. African undergrads getting sauced. Interesting vibe, to be sure. Solid microbrews. Lovely country, except for, oh, that whole apartheid thing. Oh, and the racial hatred. And the total lack of safety after 7pm. And the carjacking. Located in one of the most touristy locations on the whole continent this brewpub still posess some local character. Beers are (or at least were, until the links between the two were broken) the same as offered at Mitchell’s in Knysna. |
