| Beershine (261), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam | | February 6, 2009 Needs a bit of a facelift, but otherwise an alright place. Food seemed like it was an afterthought. The soup tasted canned. Boring brews. Friendly service though. | | Oakes (421), gone rambling, Vietnam | | January 29, 2009 Nothing special about the vibe. The beers were okay - well made but unadventurous. All house brands brewed up in Myrtle Beach. The food wasn’t so great. This could have been a better experience but it wasn’t dismal. Just kind of meh. | | tronraner (100), Seymour, Tennessee | | January 28, 2008 Pretty much a steakhouse that just happens to brew their own beer. There seems to be kind of a yuppy clientele. Nice open atmosphere with art on the walls and such, which is nice. The beer isn’t particularly good in any way, but the food is decent. | | gsmitty80 (40), Washington DC | | July 7, 2007 Rib smokehouse and brew pub. Interesting selection of house beers, although i dont remember how one tastes to rate it. Good food, i got...the ribs. Family lives down there, will stop back in to rate the beers. | | NachlamSie (209), Tennessee | | January 3, 2007 This seems to be a pretty happening place with all kinds of folks hanging out, eating, and watching the game. The beer is mediocre at best. Kaminsky’s is right next door and the menu is also open to T Bonz customers. This place was just all right, I probably wouldn’t make any effort to come back. | | GeneralGao (220), Iowa City, Iowa | | March 5, 2006 I didn’t find many great places to try beer in Charleston, but I did happen upon this place. Located in a touristy part of historic downtown Charleston. Didn’t try the food, just the beer. They had 5 of their own on tap and a few others. The beers were okay. Service was good. Busy and noisy. Smoking is allowed unfortunately. | | austinpowers (152), New York, New York | | February 1, 2005 [ Updated February 5, 2005 ] Click here for T-Bonz Beer Ratings.
T-Bonz Gill and Grill is one of two brewpubs located in Charleston, SC, so if you’re in town, I recommend you drop by and sample their wares. I didn’t try the food, but they had 5 beers on tap, all of which are brewed in S. Carolina by New South Brewing. As for the establishment, it was a casual place, not unlike a TGI Friday’s, with a long bar and a friendly bartender. Lots of wood inside and a few TV’s near the bar showing football. From their beer menu, T-Bonz didn’t seem as serious about their beer as their crosstown rival, Southend Brewing.
