They have a pretty good selection, especially since SC popped the cap, but it isn’t as extensive as other Green’s locations. They do have the climate-controlled room for the upper end beers, which is nice. The best part is pricing, of course. Reasonable prices with a discount for paying cash. I won’t make any special trips, but if I’m in the area I’ll stop by here again.

Green’s is pretty solid, which is a good thing because when I was in the area on business there weren’t very many other options. They probably carry a big chunk of what makes it to SC. Prices were pretty good, seemed about right. I would have liked more singles options but that’s okay. Overall if you’re in the area this might be your best choice.

Nice clean store, bright lighting, friendly staff. Considering the ABV limit - has a decent selection of Germans, Brits and Eastern Euros. But lacking very seriously in local micros. Major dings for that. Only saw two kinds of Thomas Creek and that was it for South or North Carolina Brewers. No Palmetto, Duck Rabbit, Highland etc. Was hoping to stock up on these. Had to find Palmetto Porter at a local Ingles Grocery store. Must have some problems with distribution. Oh well, I wa able to pick up about 5 euros I had not rated yet, so it was not a total waste. Also had the hugest Rogue Dead Guy Ale I have ever seen!

This place has a fairly good beer selection. It seems to be more imports than American micros. There are a few brews from SC that are available for rather cheap, so that was worth checking out. The best thing about this place is the price. There are some really good bargains to be found i.e. 6 pack of Palmetto Porter for $4.75. -[October 27, ’07] South Carolina finally lifted the 6% abv law and Green’s quickly followed suit. They have a temperature controlled cellar filled with nothing but Belgian styled brews. The selection here has improved, but doesn’t quite match the quality of the Green’s in Columbia. The regional selection has also improved with some Highland, Duck Rabbit, Thomas Creek, and Atlanta beers on the shelf.
