Lubiere | Went there in November of 2006. Overall, I liked this place, although they have little beers on taps, but considering this is one of very few BPs in the region, its better than nothing. The food was good and cheap, regional Catalan tapas: I had the Pebrots de brandade de Bacalla (a cod filled peppers) and the Mil Fills de botifana negra i patata (fluffy pastry with black pudding and potatoes), for a few euros eacg. The decor is breweriana meets a Spanish basement. They sell beers to go for 6 euros (500 ml). The only thing that really bothered me was the 80s music.

Bragesnak | Friendly staff but hard to communicate with (catalan). Has an OK selection of bottled beers incl. some regional breweries. Their own beers was on the day poor (a pale ale and a witt - none of them recommendable) - but especially wrong was that the home page annoncement of regulars was not correct (stout and IPA)

PeterA | A little bit hard to find down a back alley. I was surprised to find all the signage inside in Catalan with no translations into Castellano, this included the entire beer list. I was there early on a Friday night. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially when they figured out I could actually speak some Spanish. Being someone who is someone who is sensative to cigarette smoke, it was the first thing I noticed when I went in, much more so than in other restaurants and bars in Barcelona. However, that went away as I settled in. I took a look at the bottled beer list, and it seemed decent (although who knows what they actually had). There was a fair selection of Belgians and some Czech, German, and farther flung beers. I’d like to visit again if I have time to really know if my first impressions were correct.

fiulijn | I didn’t have a great feeling, neither for the place nor their beers.

Rastacouere | A friendly bar with great service brewing some rather unusual style for Spain. The beers were ultimately not particularly exciting, but indeed for Spain, they were really pushing the boundaries of brewing and the place feels comfortable enough, though you can’t expect many people before 10 p.m. as thius is barcelona after all. They just kept bringing tons of peanuts and various snacks after tons of various snacks for free.

xnoxhatex | An oasis in a sea of lager. This was a wonderful brewpub with quite a selection of craft beers as well. It was just what I needed.

DenverLogan | Down a little street is an old stone bldg. with this small brewpub serving their own and other brews (taps: Timmermans peche & blanche wit, Kronbacher, Fransiskana Weiss, Kwak, Giuinness). On tap they had an Iberian Pale Ale - amber/apricot gold color; minimal hopsñ some citrus, watery...not bad but not so good either - slight wet paper, melon rind, minimal body. Their Iberian Stout was a dark amber with big head, moderate body and flavor, but not what I´d call any style of stout. Staff spoke minimal English. Tapas selection looked good.

| manucorazzini | I found that the place was friendly with a lot of local young customers. The homemade beers are bland, watery and expensive but they have a nice selection of beers on draft: Timmermans Pêche and Wit, Kwak, Franciskaner...
