Ughsmash | After I stumbled across Magister, I stumbled across this place! This bar was much quieter than Magister, and there was no smoking (in Madrid, that’s a huge deal!).. ambiance UP! They only brew 2 beers, but they were entirely decent, and the bartender was friendly. We didn’t eat here, but probably will next time.

Rastacouere | Well-located place with above average beers for Spain. The focus remain apparently on food, the place felt rather quiet for Madrid in the afternoon. they offer a wide range of tapas at low prices for Madrid. The service was quick and efficient while

Fukito | Nice, familiar ambiance. Selection is almost only house beer, which is ok, although there are only two of them. Prices are reasonable (2€ for 12oz). Food looks and was very tasty. My revuelto de morcilla de burgos was spectacular, the rest of the menu was the thypicall and filling spanish cuisinne (tortillas, chorizos, jamones, yummy!!). Service was not bad, but very slow.

TheGrandMaster | IThe atmosphere didn’t compare to other bars int he area and it didn’t feel very "Madridish". But saying that, I enjoyed the Helles and was not a bad place to start the evening.

voota | Modern looking place, not busy at all in the afternoon, but quite full at night. They only brew 2 beers which is a bit crap, but they are both well crafted and quite enjoyable. Free tapas, did not order any other food. Decent place. Standard Madrid prices

PeterA | The beers weren’t bad. We were there in the middle of the afternoon, and it was pretty close to empty. The food selection on the menu wasn’t bad, but avoid the paella, it just wasn’t that good. Looks like it would be a good place to set down and drink and eat a lot of tapas over the course of an evening.

| MrGrumpy | The best beer we found in Madrid. My wife and I both prefered the full flavoured dark tostada to the blond rubia that seemed more popular with the locals. We made two visits. The first was early afternoon and it was very quiet. On the following day, we arrived early evening and it was busier.

| pbkeber | Visited whilst Germany v Italy World Cup match was on. Very busy but service still good. Just two beers that are brewed onsite. enjoyed the dark beer(Toatada). good place to visit either inside or out. Eating is nice and also inexpensive.

DenverLogan | On a nice square in central Madrid, you can eat-drink inside or out on the patio or out in the square. Generally, you pay more to eat outside as with many European places. Their beers have no additives and are all natural. The Jarrade Ceveza Rubia (Helles) was refreshing, nice balance, full body. The Jarro de Cerveza Tostada Espoecial (Dunkles) had a brown-amber head, slight burnt caramel roasted malt flavor, full body, tasty and satisfying. Food included canapes, sausages, cheese, fish, fois gras, salads, paella, raciones, portions, and desserts. I had the ali-oli con Gambas (shrimp with garlic mayo served cold on French bread) and queso de cabra con peros al vino (goat cheeses with pears in wine). Both were quite nice.

Nekronos | NOt really a crazy place, but they only have two beers, porbably they should improve that. The staff looks a littrle unhappy, but it was MOnday.
