| MaBeer1972 (64), Taunton, Massachusetts | | September 17, 2011 Located outside of Bar Harbor on the north side, down a gravel road. A small bar and indoor area with several long tables, and several tables outside under cover. The BBQ is quite good. Beer selection is OK. I got an IPA and my wife the Blueberry. Good service. | | Braudog (611), Hampton, Virginia | | August 22, 2011 August 2011. In a wooded setting on the outskirts of the Bar Harbor/Acadia area, this place has a unique set-up for a brewery, with emphasis on a gift shop. They do offer a wide array of beers and glassware from places across the area. A small BBQ joint is connected and offers the beers on tap. The food smelled good, but we didn’t eat. The beers were nothing to write home about, but good enough to hit the spot after a long drive to the island. | | TURDFERGUSON (117), Carrboro, North Carolina | | August 15, 2011 Vistited here with some longtime family friends during a Maine vacation with my folks last year. Beers were meh as expected. I have had my share of this breweries offerings during my time in Amherst. Food was pretty good, I got a bbq sandwich which was pretty tasty. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | October 22, 2010 Kind of a cool brewery to visit with some good beers. Recommended | | alobar (43), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | September 20, 2010 Had a nice visit here. Small. Went without a tour and got good service. Samples were in plastic cups. Glass would have been better for flavor and some of the beers were really good! Had lunch here as well. Good sloppy sandwich at a decent price. | | simonbilyk (12), Maine | | July 25, 2009 Did not really enjoy myself on a visit to the Atlantic Brewing Company. The tour felt extremely ’low brow’ and was directed at the 40 other tourists. It felt like one long boast about ABC’s beers to the detriment of all other beer. (Talking up their own beer is great, just don’t bring down others, it’s okay to love lots of different beer!) The tasting afterwards was fun, they ran down the whole selection, some 12? beers and kept up lots of lively banter, I needed to sit a bit before driving off. | | 6ROW (40), corpus christi, Texas | | May 27, 2009 this is a very small brewery, if you are in the Bar Harbor area make it a point to stop in and support our local brewers. tours are offered through the well stocked gift shop. on site is a small bbq shop with great values | JohnQPublic (3), Brooklyn, New York does not count - explanation | | July 22, 2008 Amazing BBQ joint - and this coming from an East Tennessean who grew up around BBQ. Pulled pork and ribs are highly recommended. The beers ranged in quality, but the good ones were very good, including the Scottish ale which was a perfect complement to the BBQ sauce. Also, this may be the only place to get their Bro. Adam’s Bragget on tap. Wait staff was prompt and very friendly and attentive.meals were 10-14, worth every penny for the amount and quality of food. Picnic atmosphere. A must see if you’re in the Bar Harbor area in my opinion. (99e rating d’établissement) | | JAF737300 (45), Chicago, Illinois | | September 22, 2007 Great beer on tap with a good tour and very knowledgable staff. A nice gift shop and to go beer selection. The attached bbq joint serves GREAT meats. LOved my visit. |
