| soyorganic (24), Denver, Colorado | | May 6, 2012 This place is really cool. Went on the beer tour and had some of Avery’s awesome beers. I am convinced that Avery is tied for the best brewery in CO. | | christoph (10), littleton, Colorado | | May 5, 2012 Wow for one of my favorite places i would have expected a higher score but it is what it is. The beer is always very good usually have some nice brewery only stuff which is fun. Food provided by savory cuisine is in my opinion very very good. BUT it has become very difficult to go to avery hard to find a seat when busy can take a long time to get served not nearly enough seating or staff especially during special releases. all that being said I love avery beer and the staff hopefully the new brewery adresses these problems and brings it back to what it used to be. If in the boulder it is a must stop. | | Grundlepaste (10), , | | April 17, 2012 Wow, I can see myself getting in trouble here. Amazing beer selection and service. Did not eat the food. Liked the brewery tour a lot. I can tell the staff here is very proud, and should be! | | tkingsbury2 (15), San Diego, California | | March 25, 2012 Was able to stop in on a trip to Boulder. Tasting room and brewery onsite in an industrial park east of Boulder. Good food and TONS of taps (+20). They have all the standard stuff you see in stores and a bunch of test brews that range from good tries to sheer brilliance. This is evidenced by the fact the have an entire warehouse of barrels aging their various concoctions. Definitely a place to go! | | gvmdw7 (31), California | | February 9, 2012 It’s hard to compare this to other beer bars, only because they just sell their own beers. The beer was great, with several brewery only selections. The food was was good, and reasonably priced. The bar was well designed. We were in Denver for a cross-country road trip and had to stop. Make sure to visit, if you’re in town. | wzd (1), Colorado does not count - explanation | | January 19, 2012 A gem nestled in a warehouse setting. I was there for a climber event, and they did a wonderful job with a good sized crowd. We had private service in the banquet area and pub access for more variety in beers. Too many good ones, have to head back! | | BOLTZ7555 (56), Phoenix, Arizona | | January 1, 2012 Tight parking around the location which was nestled amongst various warehouses. Once inside, quarters were tight but there was a nice room that appeared to be for banquets toward the back. Solid beers on tap including their rarer sours. Bit out of the way to visit regularly. | | ads135 (49), Lawrence, | | November 20, 2011 Situated in a warehouse area in Boulder. The taproom was inviting enough with plenty of taps and a decent amount of seating space. I’ve been twice, and unfortunately the second time was spent mostly retching in the bathroom (thankfully not because of the beer). Still, a must for any beer enthusiast visiting the area. | | BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | October 31, 2011 A fun and crowded stop during GABF weekend. Industrial space. Great beers (and some of them much tastier on site than they normally are). Fun atmosphere but with massive bathroom lines. Lots of rarities on tap, but I am pretty sure that it was a GABF anomaly. The barrel room next door to the main tasting room had a really nice ambiance as well. Fun times! | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | October 17, 2011 Looks like a warehouse from the outside but a very warm, inviting pub on the inside. It seemed like everyone who worked there hung out there as well because they enjoyed the vibe. The bartenders were all fantastic and they had a lot of knowledge and passion for their beers. They had 22 different things on tap including a cask. The samplers were a buck each except for their massive 15-16% brews. The only negative was they had a bit of a fly problem but somehow it didn’t matter because Avery doesn’t make shitty beer. The beers themselves ranged from interesting misfires to fantastic executions of style. I’d recommend the place to anyone. |
