11 is an excellent wine bar that happens to serve beer as well. There are shelves and shelves of wine behind the quaint seating area. But there’s a reasonable beer selection, too. It feels a little awkward ordering a beer there, but not enough to keep me from it. Definitely the place to go in Folly Beach for a drink.

Do you find yourself in a group of people who want to go eat biscuits and gravy at the Lost Dog instead of drinking beer for breakfast? Well, this is the place to go in sleepy little Folly Beach. It’s very quiet and reserved, especially during the daytime. This place specializes very much so in wine. The wine shelves are literally larger than the seating area in this store. However, this is also by far and large the best beer selection in Folly Beach, actually, it’s probably the only place in this town to get a decent beer. There is a cooler stocked with a decent variety of micros, imports, and a handful of regional beers. I visited twice and my beer arrived in the perscribed glassware both times. In the back section of the store, among the wine, is a shelf with a small amount of beers that are available to build a six pack. The beers in the cooler are also available to go. I picked up a bottle of sake while I was at it. If I was more interested in wine, this place would be heaven in Folly Beach, but it served well in providing me a good beer haven.
