To sum it up, this is a neighborhood bar with an above average beer selection. Prices are pretty decent too. However, this is probably the smokiest of the beer bars in town. I could not stay past one beer. However, in the warmer months there is a patio. Worth a stop if you are in the area, but you are not going to find anything that you can’t get at the other beer bars in Nashville. Unrelated to my rating or impression of the place, they have the phony Benjamin Franklin quote above the taps, which is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Cool little neighborhood bar with a pretty good beer selection. Can get a bit smokey, but they have an outdoor patio.

this is my local watering hole. owner is a beer drinker. usually just drink the terrapin rye though. but have a nice selection. 2 4 1’s sundays and wednesdays. nothing unbelievable but a nice hang in a little laid back part of town east of downtown. can get smokey and busy on weekends, but have outdoor seating, and garage doors that open inside when nice

Cool little place we stumbled upon just south, I think, of downtown. Hipster neighborhood: tattoo parlors, a couple of dive bars, small shops. Decent selection of local micros & others from around the South. Unfortunately it was very smoky- Welcome to N’ville! Lots of Bud & PBR drinkers, great jukebox blasting tunes. Definitely a late night hook up joint. I left with my wife...
