| Cliff (26), Avon Lake, Ohio | | February 23, 2012 Cool place, very nice on the inside. Staff was very attentive. Food was pretty expensive for what you got. $11 for a burger that looked like it was a frozen, pre formed patty. $7 for a 10 oz. smoked saison. $24 including tip for a burger, sub side salad for fries and one beer. Too rich for my blood. | | 79MPH (10), | | November 29, 2011 Beautiful Brewpub, great food, and great waitstaff. More of a refined crowd. Try the aged beers that aren’t labeled. Very good. | MPosey (6), , Georgia does not count - explanation | | September 8, 2011 A great place to go. They brew their own and have seasonal selections. The menu doesn’t change too often, but they use locallly sourced ingredients and everything is very well done. A very nice place to go. | | Westmeister (32), Atlanta, Georgia | | July 7, 2011 The atmosphere is more finer dining than brewpub. The beers are well crafted but no selection outside of their own. My personal preference is many beers in a bar atmosphere. | | craftbeerdesign (92), Alpharetta, Georgia | | May 29, 2011 Great brewpub in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. I feel very fortunate to live less than 10 miles from here. Crawford brews some great beer in a variety of styles. There are also bottle conditioned 750mls available of limited barrel aged beers. The food is excellent and mostly (if not all) organic and local. The food is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Great prices on the beer... and they will give you free samples. Great service and a warming environment. Every thursday at 5:55 they tap a cask of something. Check them out! | | beernovice39 (146), South Carolina | | May 28, 2011 Great service! Good beer and decent food. | mbsmith (3), Missouri does not count - explanation | | April 6, 2011 Any time i got to Atlanta i know i’m going here multiple times. Beautiful place with a relaxed but happy/upbeat ambiance. Upscale log cabin style construction with very high ceiling and a classy, iron-enclosed fire pit in the center of the restaurant. Brewing equipment visible to the right as you enter. Suitable for just about any type of activity/group. Awesome menu with local options and unique specials that change daily. You’re almost guaranteed to have the best [insert not-so-common meat here, i.e. rabbit, crayfish, elk] dish you’ve tasted. Spent grain bread is ultra tasty and cheap, get it before it runs out. And then there’s the beer! Crawford is an outstanding brewmaster and the taps are always great. I have not been disappointed yet. Same goes for the bottles. I recommend a few samples of what’s on draft, drink your favorite(s) and then split a bottle from the cellar with a friend. Not quite as much selection as the Westside location but still plenty to keep you busy. The quality and atmosphere are high but the price is not. My go-to spot when in ATL. Heading back down there in a couple weeks- can’t wait!!! | | mixmasterob (11), Marietta, Georgia | | July 21, 2010 I have been twice now. Both times I have had awesome bartenders, they have great employees. The IPAs were excellent, didn’t try anything else. Food was also very good. They have about 8 or 9 different beers on tap always along with some cellared 750 bottles which are way pricey. A very solid brewpub, if in the area you will enjoy it. | | ben4321 (117), Hoboken, New Jersey | | February 15, 2010 Nice brewbup. Big location. Really solid food, much beyond bar food. All the beers were fairly solid as well, some even really good. I like this place. It was pretty empty on our visit, but I had a good time. | | aracauna (55), Georgia | | November 28, 2009 This is the same location of the old Buckhead Brewery and Embers brewpub, but 5 Seasons has made some improvements to the decor, but it’s still basically the same large, airy space with plenty of wood. Crawford Moran, of Dogwood Brewing fame, produces some incredible and creative beers here and I’ve always been a fan of David Larkworthy’s food. For out-of-towners basing their stay in Downtown Atlanta, the Westside 5 Seasons (also featuring beers by Crawford Moran) or the original Sandy Springs location (with beers by former Sweetwater brewmaster Kevin McNerney who has increased the numbers of beers on tap at a time there). |
