Easy-to-find brewpub close to Vienna shopping street Mariahilfer Straße. 8 beers on tap. The service was a bit angular. There is a beer vending machine in the entrance hall you can buy some cold take-away bottles.

Nice place. You walk into the bar area. There is a big sky light over bar allowing for plenty of natural light to come in. There is a small biergarten in back. The place is bigger than it looks. The food and beer are good. The service is a little slow but do not let that stop you from visiting. It is worth a stop as it is not far from the city center.

What a great place and a great find in Vienna! The decor is fantastic...with multiple rooms and a courtyard. The people here are very nice...great staff and clientelle. You just know when you walk in you’ve found something special. As for the beer...at least 7 the night we visited. Tops for me was the 7Stern IPA...really a nice halfway point between and English and American style...the later always being a welcome surprise to me when visiting larger or more poular venues in Europe (I do find them at smaller crafft beer bars of course). The Chilli beer had some real kick without being overdone...best enjoyed with some hearty fare. I also though the Bamburger Rauchbier was quite good. The real star of our visit (if not the best of their beers) was the Hanf...as in "hemp beer"...as in marijuana...of course the bar makes it clear there are no effects from the hemp to the beer drinker...apparently true from the one I had...but certainly funny to see my 85 yr old Mom’s expression when I told her what it was made from...lol! Anyway...great place...great experience...definitely a destination brewpub for any Austrian visit.

What is there not to love about this place. To a big open atmosphere with lots of places to sit. Lots of beers that cycle and the occasional one off. The service is as good as can be expected for such a busy place. The prices for food is higher than other pubs but it seems to shine on quality. Overall a great hangout and restarant with decent beers.
Update: after a few visits it starts to feel a bit touristy and the food starts to feel a bit mass produced. Getting tired after a few visits.

Great beer hall. Great beers, especially the IPA. If you love beer don’t miss this place.

A very crowded place in the evenings. Filled almost to the brim with locals and tourists, eating and drinking or just drinking. Service can be curt or nice, depending. Have a selection of their own brews with the regulars as well as some more special ones and one seasonal bock. Food is the standard Austrian/Viennese fair. Decently executed, but quality can vary between dieshes: Chips straight off the freezer though while sauerkraut was excellent. Rather plain perhaps the menu. 3€ for a small one, the same for bottles for takeaway.

Sat at the bar and got served right away. Seemed like mostly locals at 6pm. Started to get crowded around 7. Mostly wood and brick. The bar was nice and big. My favorite beers in Vienna were from here. The beer vending machine is very unique.

Very nice spacious environment with the kettles located in the center under a glass roof. The service is quick, all menus are in English and the waiter spoke no problem. As has been stated, the food selection is small, but IMO sufficient. I had a 7 Stern burger, which was huge. The meat could be a bit less grilled and the fries are obviously pre-made from the supermarket, but the burger itself was pretty good. Selection of beers is wide. Unfortunately quality was not as good as the reviews suggest, but they may have had short-term problems. Prices are high, but that is to be expected in the very center of Vienna. Always place reservations if you want to visit in the evening. Most of the tables are reserved. Overall a nice brewery, but short of excellence.

Seems very popular place in Wien. Beer automat at the entrance, I think it’ s a very goo idea...The only place I’ve visited twice during my stay in the city.
Wide range of beers, their Bamberger Rauchbier was quite excellent.

A nice brewpub in a beautiful corner of Vienna. The highlight surely is the location with a big cosy, traditional room with a bar in the middle, dominated by the brew kettles. In summer you can also sit in a beautiful courtyard under a massive tree. The food is good, although the selection isn’t extensive. The service isn’t the best unfortunately, not very friendly or knowledgable staff. The beer is very good, with focus on traditional European styles and they always have a seasonal beer, mostly a Bock, which is always worth a try. Strangely, this is one of the very few places in Vienna, where you get a traditional Vienna style lager (although they call it Märzen). And they propably have the best smoke beer in Austria, the seasonal Winterrauchbock, a smoke bock, which is available right now, in winter after christmas. Another highlight is the beer automat at the entrance!
