Nice little restaurant and beer bar on the busy Laugavegur street. Just a few taps, but a nice bottle selection that included many of Borg’s back catalog. Prices are okay for Iceland, though super expensive for some of those retired Borg beers. Very friendly service. Food didn’t look very good to me -- most people seemed to be ordering a burger & fries, that looked like cheap diner food. Definitely worth a stop when in town for the beers.

We visited late in the afternoon for lunch and some beverages. The food is pretty tasty and there were several good Icelandic beer options. The service was good and prices fair. We ended up stopping here about three times in five days during our Iceland trip. The food and beer kept us coming back.

This is a smallish restaurant with amazing and creative burgers. Try the 73 sauce for the fries. The beer selection was larger than any other we visited up until then, with maybe half a dozen bottles from Borg, two taps and three bottles from Kaldi and some very tasty bottles from Gaeoingur. Very friendly and efficient services. Definitely worth a look.

Stopped by for lunch during our 8 hour transfer. The bartender was really nice and the selection of beer was all right. Had a pretty good burger, too.

Certainly a good selection of Icelandic micros. Food was quite okay, had an svEpic burger, but it failed to impress. Nothing wrong, but nothing special about it either. Service was fine and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. Worth a visit.

A cosy restaurant with great food and an excellent selection of beers from Icelandic micros. I was lucky when I visted (February 2014) as the Christmas beers were all reduced. Great for a ticker like me! :)

Weird how none of the best places in Reykjavik are proper bars. Great quality burger place with an excellent beer menu.

Game-y, flavorful grass fed beef hamburgers and a wide selection of Icelandic micros including things not seen elsewhere in town. The two waitresses were very welcoming and talkative and understood that I wanted to sit with a few beers for some time before ordering food. Even when it was packed they seemed on top of things.

Burger joint with seemingly every icelandic beer available in bottles. Taps are are all dishwater, however. Waitstaff seemed pretty well trained in serving beer.

A nicely cosy bar-restaurant at the out-of-centre end of the main pedestrianised shopping drag. The big draw here is that almost all the beers are Icelandic, from industrial to super-craft. Includes a lot from Borg Brugghus, with Olvisholt, Gaedingur and Viking’s better and Einstok brews. Good menu too, with universal burgers and Arctic char.
