A rather small and very cozy pub located in a fun U-shape alley with other cool hangout spots, including a water-pipe smoking spot, a noisy boom-tss-boom club and more. That alley is a really neat place to hang out in Bucharesest and it totally isolates you from the busy city. The pub is split on two floors and can probably sit 50 people total, it’s a small place. Only 1 tap line and around 100 bottles mostly from Belgium and Germany. The less-than-limited choices of draught beer is not particular to this place, it is a recurrent theme all over Romania where draught is considered lesser quality vehicle for beer, I shit you not. I had an Ankerbrau Rieser Hefe-Weizen on tap and a bottle of Fullers Past Maters. Very friendly service, ok prices. No food as far I could tell. Beer selection included some Brewdog, Struise Pannepot, all trappists except westy, De Dolle, a lot of German bottles, etc… Overall, quite a very pleasant experience because of the cool U-shape alley where the pub is located.

Visited March/April 2013. An extensive selection of mostly European beers, including sour ales, aged bottles rarities in the best prices I have ever seen - for tourists, that is. Raters, keep in mind that if you want to honestly rate the aroma you’ll have to go out or arrive very early - the place is reeks of smoke.Outside seats are available but we were there in the winter so we sat inside and went out to inhale. Staff is rather snarky but they’d let you buy take-outs. The place will be awesome once anti-smoking laws pass in the country.

With its other branch not far away in Str Gabroveni, probably the best variety of beers in the city. Prices are good for a foreigner and the staff helpful and know their beers. More intimate than the Gabroveni branch.

This pub is situated in the Lipscani area (the old center), in the Villacrosse passage. It is hard to spot because it is quite small (a small bar downstairs and 4 tables upstairs). The staff is friendly, and the beer selection is the widest in all Bucharest. However they only have 4 taps (i had the Punk IPA) and the rest of 165 are all bottles. They do have proper glassware and every brand of beer came in it’s own branded glass.
Overall: A beer lover’s paradise hidden in the most inconspicuous place.

Very small bar with 6-8 tables upstairs and high bar tables on the walls downstairs. Very friendly staff. They had 86 beers (all bottles) in their menu. Four most commonly found trappist beers, quite a large selection of belgian strong ales and german hefeweizen beers were prominent in the menu. Highly recommended if you are in Bucharest and would like to drink good beer.
