Beerloga is just outside the city centre, about one kilometre from the Republic Square (same distance from the Freedom Square). Went there for lunch and a beer and to check out the place. Nicely decorated cellar with a german feel. Both beers and food is mainly Armenian, German and Czech. Not a huge selection of beer, but the widest selection i found in Yerevan. Not just the common Armenian and Russian pale industrial lagers. I only had one beer here (from tap), i would assume it was a locally produced beer. It was called Jäger and served in a branded mug with something written in Armenian under the logo. I can’t find out anything about it, but it was a decent beer. Probably fresh and definitely unfiltered. It was hazy golden orange with a large white head. Light, fruity and refreshing. The other tap beers were big German and Czech brands like Krušovice and Krombacher. Bottled beer was also avilable, but i think it was mostly beer that was common at other bars in the city too. Definitely worth a visit! |
