Well yes, it might actually be that this is the best beer place in Icelandís second city and capital of brewing, though GŲtubarinn may have been better for Viking and EinstŲk beers, if only I could have found it!

Visited on a Saturday evening in June í09.
A local guy we met on the ring road tipped us off that we might find a dark beer in here, as opposed to the standard lagers!
He wasnít wrong - unfortunately we drank them out of bottles of Urvals stout by our second round!
The place had a nice vibe, relaxing, kind of coffee shop in the morning meets bar in the evening. Seemed to be largely tourists in there.
Service was fine they were quite apologetic that theyíd got no more stout for us!
Having found only Viking and Gull in the other venues in town this was indeed the oasis in the desert!
