Well, what a major disappointment. Following on from the previous reviewer, itís clear that Mr Chong Wai Lun did not get his way, because this store has stopped selling beer! Well, thatís not technically correct. They have just ONE beer, a Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. Clearly they sold beer in the past and had a decent selection, as there are many empty beer bottles on display in the store. If it wasnít for the fact they still sold one beer, iíd mark the store as "out of business" because for anyone who is interested in beer, it might just as well be! Donít waste your time going there.

Store with mainly wines and a small but thoughtful selection of beers mainly from Germany and Belgium. In the ownerís words, "If it were up to me, the whole store would be beer. I love beer more than wine." The owner is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and has traveled throughout Germany and Belgium. He has beer books you can leaf through in the store. If Malaysiaís laws and taxes did not prohibit the growth of the beer market in Malaysia, then Chong Wai Lun would certainly be running a premier bottle shop. As it is, this is one of the best places to buy beer in KL. Note: this is not a bar but there are several comfortable tables in the back where you may sample what you purchase in proper glassware. Nice touch.
