Very busy when I was there, but good deals during happy hour. They have 5 of their own beers plus a seasonal, which were better than the beers at Antares, and possibly San Telmo, all of which are on the same street just south of Plaza de Mayo.

Nice Irish style pub with the old brick walls. Service was ok and beers are quite decent. Ok service. If I remember correctly few other micros on bottle too. Certainly for beerhunter one spot to visit in BA, close to San Telmo Brew Pub and Antares San Telmo.

nowadays, it is my favourite place in Buenos Aires to get a good craft beer, it is a proper downtown brew pub where you can get really good brews, Breoghan´s beer and also invited beers. Golden Ale is the finest Pale ale in the city, in my opinion. San Telmo Fire IPA is also great. Of course there are other places to go, but they are growing up fast and also loosing their craft spirit. Then... as I said... Breoghan is the place to go...

Visited here in 2010 and in 2011. Odd opening hours and their beer not always available (rather amateurish as this is their tap!) On my 1st visit we were enjoying Breoghan Old Red Ale and when it ran out moved on to Antares Red which was sweeter and far less complex. On 2nd visit was just called Red Ale and not as good so tried the porter from Una Mas which was ok.

Nice cosy bar, good service. Didn’t eat, beer was good and the stout exceptional!

Quiet bar in San Telmo district. Trys but fails to present an Irish theme. Good selection of Argentinian & international beers. I think they brew their own stout but they don’t promote it. A quiet alternative to Gibraltar which is not far away.

4-place bar with two towers. Dozen seats downstairs with windows to street, upstairs with wooden tables and chairs. No TVs, non-smoking! Full liquor selection, 20-liter kegs from brewery 20km away in San Fernando from 200-liter batches, cold-box behind bar. 30’ red brick ceiling. Green & black chalkboard with brands and prices. Happy hour 18:00-22:00 with two beers for $14-18. Bottled Belgian, Spanish and Argentinian beers. No U.S. beers due to excessive import taxes. Member of ACA craft brewers association. Thin crust pizzas and tasty traditional appetizers. Open since April 2009 by two brewer brothers. Customer tastings every 45 days.
