I had dinner on the patio of this place once in my pre-ratebeer days back in the autumn of 2007. I enjoyed it a lot and remember it well. I had a couple of their own beers and seem to recall that the menu boasted of a few award winning beers. Fast, profesaional and friendly service and a good atmosphere.

Nice BrewPub! The food is good, but the beers are really hit-n-miss... Some are great, others are just ok.

A great range of craft and locally brewed beers for Asia, I was so happy to find it. The best place in the area by a very long way.

Like the atmosphere. The inside has great ac and the outside has an open air dining atmosphere. Seated and served relatively quick. Several beers on tap and cask. Touristy, but still had many locals.

Situated a bit in from Merchants road, and rather difficult to cross the road unless you do it in the very start/end of the street. I started off down the one side, that proved to be the wrong one of course, so needed to backtrack to find the crossing over.
If you end up walking west like I did, with Eu Tong Sen St. / New Bridge Road in your back, the place is on your right hand side, so make sure to start down Merchant Rd. on the right hand side as well.
Rather large seating area, both indoors and out. Smoking area in a few designated places outdoors. Fresh nice toilets where you pass parts of the brewery walking in. Didnít eat, but saw plenty of others do and looked rather popular for it. Located in an area easy to walk to, if you know where to cross the road, and with plenty of other bars and restaurants as well as bustling nightlife around.
Prices change depending on what time of day you visit. Flights/samples available, 4 for $14, with their regular and seasonal brews I could finish 8 beers here. WiFi available. Nice area with some water around. Very nice, fast, friendly service. Didnít check out the bottles at all.
One of the guys working here saw me wearing a Hypocrisy shirt and started talked about Swedish metal music with me.

Visited June 2013, nice location on the river, but with the heat we stayed inside where the AC kept the place nice and cool. Huge seating area outside and lots of space inside as well.
They had 11 of their own beers on tap. I had two sets of samplers at SGD 14 for 4x90ml. They also had two guest taps and 27 bottled beers from US, JP, DE, BE, AU, NZ and DK.
Food a bit disappointing, but we were there for the beers, really.

Situated in a nice location along the river. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere a bit away from the city hustle & bustle. Service is fiendly and quite good. There is a nice selection of beers to choose from including a couple of seasonal offerings. The beers are not awe inspiring but for Singapore this offers a nice variety to the standard beers offered locally. There is a good menu of pub food to go with the beers. Considering where in the world you are at, this is a nice oasis to relax and enjoy the local beers.

Itís a hot and steamy night in Singapore, and Clarke Quay at 10:30pm is packed with beautiful young things. Iím not one of them, but itís my first night in Asia and Brewerkz was my first stop after checking in at my nearby hotel. Iím lucky to have an outdoor table at this massive brewpub/restaurant by the riverbank, hence the full marks for ambience. The beer menu is divided among Guest Taps, Signature Beers and Seasonal Specials. Iím starting with a Hopback Ale, a 4.5% cask bitter. Itís very reminiscent of an English ale, at a proper cask temperature and is very tasty.
The service here was better than average, especially given the crowds here on a Friday night. There is plenty of outdoor seating and indoors you can take advantage of the air conditioning and the large screen sports on TV.
Brewerkz offers a 5.0% Kolsch as a seasonal special, so thatís my next glass. The pricing structure here is new to me - they charge by the time of day you drink! My Kolsch would cost $6 Singapore dollars at lunchtime, and it goes up in increments to my current late night glass at $12!! These arenít pints Iím drinking, though - a 500 ml or half-litre of beer is called a "fifty". My Kolsch "fifty" is also delicious, is colder than the Hopback, and has that German crispness. I have to say I prefer the Hopback. Next up and last for tonight is the seasonal Oktoberfest, billed as a 6.0% "strong nutty malt character". Much smoother than the Kolsch, darker, deceptively strong, and sweeter than the real Bavarian Oktoberfest Iím used to. Iím skipping the strange-sounding seasonals such as White Rabbit, Black Pig and Mad Bee, but will return during my stay.
What a great place! I wish my hometown had a place of this standard. Highly recommended and earning a "Very Good" label from me if you are in Singapore.

I've been coming here now since 2006 on and off and I have never been disappointed. Awesome selection of craft ales brewed on-site which is the reason to come here. Decent selection of bottled beers from around the world. Great food and great service too. Can't recommend highly enough for any beer lover.
