We (Loz & myself) visited here in December 2011. Located at the corner of a busy flea market, this place had plenty of down to earth charm and was a great place to sit and watch the world go by or to try on my new hat purchased at the market. Good choice of Lambic on offer here and well priced also. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and if anywhere close again I will definatly re-visit.

Had a wonderful brunch in here on an early Sunday afternoon. Brocante has live jazz on Sundays and the trio started shortly after we arrived. The three-piece band played for about 45 minutes and were great. The beer list is exceptional and covers all the "standard" Belgian beers in addition to a few less common ones. Plenty of gueuze, saison, lambic, blonde, and Belgian strong to be had. The food was tasty and filling - big portions. Most of my group got omelettes, which were huge. Pretty good value for everything: ham and cheese omelette with toast about €8.50, Saison Dupont under €3. All in all a place defintely worth visiting. Very central. A great venue at which to start your day.

I am surprised this place was not already on Ratebeer! It is a brilliant cafe-bar located on the corner of a flea market. We visited on Sunday morning to the busy cafe with a live jazz band playing! Ambience is brilliant - traditional and bustling. Bottled beer list is indeed not the largest in Brussels, but is well thought out. About a third of the list was lambic, so that sorted me out at breakfast time. Some highlights of the list: Cantillon Iris, Moriau Gueuze, Saison Dupont and Horal Megablend. Ok maybe a power-ticker won’t find anything new here, but will have a great time! The omelette I ordered was gigantic and tasty. Highly recommended.
