If you are a resident of Ørestad or if you’re a visiting tourist to Copenhagen and staying in any of these hotels :- Bella Sky, Crowne Plaza or Cab Inn Metro - then this place is the beer bar you will want to visit when you don’t want to take the metro to the city centre. Although the place aspires to be more of a local café the beer lineup is quite good for Copenhagen café standards with five local craft beers on tap (supplemented by another five more regular beer taps) as well as several American and Dutch (De Molen) craft beers available bottled. The place is run by the former craft beer mastermind of Café Langebro, who is now running his own show. On sunny days the tables out in front are quite tempting. Beers available are usually from BeerHere, Amager, Port Brewing, Jolly Pumpkin, The Bruery and De Molen. Prices are reasonable in the sense that a bomber of U.S. craft beer is only marginally more expensive than store prices. The guy in charge is very knowledgeable about beer and the Danish craft beer scene and of the three times I’ve visited so far I’ve been offered ’upgrades’ on two occasions. He also offers samples to visitors that are a bit in doubt about what to choose. I hope this place will be a succes as it’s wonderful to have a strong craft beer presence in this part of Copenhagen.
