The Cock and Bull is located up the hill from Castle Pier, right nextdoor to the Cornerstone Cafe Bar. We visited on a Friday early evening and the place was already rammed full! They offer the standard keg range in Guernsey (incl. Breda Super Dry) and 5 cask ales. Perhaps we hit this at a bad time but the cask ale selection was very so-so....no Guernsey beers, but instead big regional brews from Jennings, Marston’s, Wytchwood and Ringwood.... As such we only stayed from a quick half and returned back to Cornerstone. Perhaps you will be lucky and get a better range of beers on your visit, but this place didn’t do much for me.

Great pub up the hill. Very friendly service, nice rotating selection of local beers. Quite crowded in the evening. I liked it a bit better than "The Cornerstone Café" just next to this pub, which also has a nice selection of cask ales.

The pub has been awarded BEST PUB of Guernsey several times in past years and rightfully so. Nice selection of beers including some Randall Breda’s beers. Tasted one and also tried local cider. Bartender was helpful. Worthwhile to visit.

Most likely the best pub in Guernsey. They have the selection of 5 real ale taps. During my visit Jennings Honey Bole, Shipyard Independence Pale Ale, Banks Original, Brakspear Bitter and Wychwood Regal Lager. Friendly bar staff and good atmospheare in the midday. Location is near Victor Hugo’s exile home.
