| 3fourths (962), Boulder, Colorado | | January 30, 2012 Comes off a bit like your typical brewpub-restaurant experience with a slight French Quarter twist. Four beers on tap, growler fills available. Pilsner is respectable and worth a try if you’re a fan of lagers. Food looked fairly mundane considering what else is around the FQ. | | drowland (116), Tallahassee, Florida | | January 22, 2012 Nice, hip, well-lit place with live jazz going on downstairs. Our service was prompt and friendly but nobody really knew anything about beer. The selection is pretty average. Their beers and a couple others. I didn’t try any food. Overpriced beers, but I guess it’s New Orleans. Overall... we only stopped in because we walked by and the beers weren’t that great and were overpriced. I’d say scroll past it unless you just happen to be there. | | Beershine (540), The Sunshine State, Florida | | January 12, 2012 Better than expected overall. Beers were mostly all clean except for the seasonal weizen bock. Surprised by how decent the pils was. Worth a visit. Oysters looked fabulous. | | brianprentiss (32), Portland, Oregon | | December 28, 2011 so, if you’re dying for a beer to walk around with, and you don’t want Miller Lite, this is the place for you. But, it’s expensive and the beer is only marginally better than macros. skip it. | | jsquire (47), St. Marys, Ohio | | October 13, 2011 I visited while in New Orleans. Small but tastey selection of beers. Good food and a really nice room. The staff was pleasant if not the most informed. It is worth a stop if you are down in the French Quarter, and you can walk around town with a beer if you want. | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | September 24, 2011 Located near the French quarter. We went on a Friday night where a jazz band was playing so it was unbeilevably loud. They only had 5 beers. Oddly it’s September and their seasonal was a wheat beer. The server knew nothing about the beers. He thought the flavor profile of a wheat beer was extra hoppy. The po boy was bland. This is a corporate Brewpub for the tourists. | | SPDickerman (27), Texas | | July 23, 2011 Nice New Orleans local brewpub. Their in-house beers are pretty good, and they have a "seasonal" that changes every month, so you can go in and get their beer sampler and they’ll bring you their four year-’round beers and their special. Nice waitstaff and excellent New Orleans style food. Their beer was good enough for me to wish they bottled, but they do offer growlers as consolation. | | wzmoore (17), Fishers, Indiana | | June 20, 2011 By New Orleans standards this place wasn’t all that bad, but if you look hard enough you can do better. Avenue Pub or just hit up the Sidney’s Newstand Liquor store located a few blocks down Decatur St. (towards the French Market and Cafe Du Monde) and buy yourself some beer, put it in a plastic cup and be on your merry way. | | Braudog (611), Hampton, Virginia | | December 19, 2010 December 2010. Visited on a blustery afternoon in December, and it was still warm enough to sit on the balcony. This place offers some solid Germany style lagers along with pretty decent food. Wife had some crabcakes that she devoured with much vigor. My burger was good. The beers were true to style and sturdily made. Bit pricey overall, and they seemed anxious to move us along, but it is New Orleans ... (Brewery #521) | | 6ROW (40), corpus christi, Texas | | September 23, 2010 4 to 5 of their own beers on tap. they have a sampler of all. the wait staff was helpful. over priced meals!!!!!! |
