Interior is obviously the highlight and main reason to visit. Wooden ceiling, separate seating booths, lamps, woodworks, glass, windows, tile decorations, everything is just gorgeous to behold in this early 1800s pub. Loads of people stopping by to have a look and it is across from the main bus station. A group of guided tourists even wandered through the bar while we were there. Service did take quite some time simply because they were too understaffed. Keg selection isn’t interesting Guinness obviously but also Whitewater, Coors and a bunch of other macros. They do however have 5 cask beers which is most that I saw in Belfast, Bass, Nicholson’s (obv.), Timothy Taylor and Hardian of whom I had never heard of before. Cask condition was serviceable as were the prices. Vegetarian and vegan traditional pub fair available. Obvious visit for the interior and cask beers.

The real reason to visit is to admire the architecture, or perhaps kill time whilst waiting for the airport bus. Only 5 or 6 casks available, not in great condition.

Midweek afternoon visit but there was only free upstairs. A good mix of locals & tourists. Around 8 cask & similar keg pumps. Nicholson's Pale Ale was spot on. Only seemed to have barrel glasses upstairs which isn't really a good vessel for Fuller's London Pride & Nicholson's Pale Ale. Food was standard Nicholson's fayre & service attentive. Definitely worth a visit to see the decor.

Interior looks quite original as it was in the 1800s: Mahagoni furniture, cast iron columns, gas lamps. Good range of beers including local. Nice Pub.

Quite busy on a Sunday night, tried to eat upstairs but they said without a reservation they had no tables. We managed to snag one of the booths and thought we were good to go but they wont serve food to a booth after a certain time on Sunday. We had a round and left for a place to eat. Neat atmosphere albeit quite crowded. Had a couple of beers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Pricey like most of the touristy places.

You visit for the interior which is a joy. Busy and touristy when we went. Reasonable but unspectacular beer selection. Just across from the Europa Hotel. How did the interior glass survive the many bombings?
