| fermaspac (10), , Brazil | | May 7, 2012 Great selection on local craft brews in bottles. Awful beers on tap. | | solidfunk (39), Ontario | | January 13, 2012 Great outdoor patio, wonderful selection of argentine microbrews from all overthe country. When I was there they had these: Del Castillo, Siete, Yapai, Zeppelin, HDQ, Valhalla, Blest, Kraken, Sixtofer,Katmandu, Sheken, Berlina, El Bolson, La Longia, Corsaro, Antares and Gulmen plus about 15 imports. They also had some housebrews on tap. Wasn’t very busy when I was there at 3pm. Happy hour starts is from 6-9 I think. | | garza (73), Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), Venezuela | | March 7, 2011 Good selection of beers on the menu, but in the practice they don’t have half of it. Normal bar with a terrace. Very slow service. Did not eat, but the menu it is not attractive. | giarcsr (9), Carlsbad, California does not count - explanation | | January 8, 2011 This is the place to go for Argentinian craft beer. It seems like everything that’s bottled is here. I went here twice and didn’t come close to trying everything I would have liked. You really are not going to find a bar with a more interesting selection in the city. The place itself is a little strange, done up like medievil times and with music videos on all the TV’s. The staff is nice but incompetent in terms of beer. I’d order stuff and they’d bring the wrong bottle, or if they were out suggest something not even close to what I wanted. The beer menu is woefully out of date. I just sat by the beer fridge and used that as my guide. The beer itself isn’t that amazing, but the fact its pretty much every craft brew in the country at one place makes this a must hit in BA if you want to get a feel for the craft beer scene in the country. | | acancegliero (24), São Paulo, Brazil | | December 20, 2010 Best place in Argentina to taste local beers. | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | August 31, 2010 Interesting bar in street specialising in musical instruments. Fantastic selection of bottled beers and a few on tap. Good but not English speaking service. Sting Concert shown on large screen TV. Quite expensive but worth a visit. | carlosbela (8), São Paulo, Brazil does not count - explanation | | July 28, 2010 great selection of local beers. the service was bad, specially for someone who don’t know the local beers. did’n’t like the food too. | | TheGrandMaster (102), Auckland, New Zealand | | October 19, 2007 The pub itself is a little sterile, but the range of Argentinean beers on offer is very impressive. Could have dne with another member of staff when I was there. | | ghawener (53), San Salvador, El Salvador | | March 29, 2007 A very good recommendation from Fukito on a trip to Buenos Aires, the beer list is extensive with many local micros available. They have a short list of imports, unfortunately they seem to have availability problems as most were out of stock. The place has a nice terrace and in door seating, nicely setup. Food offering is basic but goes well with the local beers. | | Fukito (19), Ann Arbor, Michigan | | January 4, 2007 Cruzat is the second best beer bar of Argentina after Cossab. The place is intended to look like a middle age´s castle where "one is attended like a king". The distinguishing thing about Cruzat is that it boasts the greatest and most diverse (geographically) selection of argentinian micros. It has some very nice taps such as Murray´s, Koala and Dallinger and bottles like Gulmen. It a bit price (3,5 U$S for a 12 oz or a drafted Pint) by argentinian standards. The food is picadas and a couple of dishes which are OK. The staff is pretty attentive. A must for any Rbeerian visiting BA. |
