80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20
Nice place located just off-centre in Ghent. But very reachable!
Interior was lovely, had a cosy look in the first wintery weekend this year.
Staff was friendly, service was really good.
As the other raters say: selection is not overwhelming, but some nice beers and more than enough variation.
The dinner we had was fine. I had some rabbit (wild season) accompanied with the Rodenbach Vintage 2012.
Prices are more than reasonable, certainly for the food.

70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20
New tavern housed in a former distillery. Very cosy, I like to sit outside here in summer, with friendly staff. Due to the limited space it can get quite crowded and loud inside. The food is standard for this type of establishment but very much okay, as is also the case in Multatuli, their original settlement. Beer list is interesting, some beers from smaller breweries and every now and then a new one is added (I discovered a beer I hadnít tasted before, something I always meet with enthusiasm).

Nice place if you just want one of the normal good belgian beers. Didnít have any food, but it looked ok.

Very nice location in the north of the city center. Small beer list but some but very well chosen. They also have changing suggestion beers. Friendly staff. Good food.

So, apparently I didnít get around to reviewing this place yet. Been here a couple of times. It is owned by the same owners as Multatuli, hence they have the same house beers: Staminee Blond and Staminee Bruin. The food is excellent, the beer list is not extremely long, but very decent with enough variety in it.
MESSAGE FOR FOREIGNERS VISITING GENT: if you read this, youíre probably planning a visit to Belgium, and Gent in particular. Iím always interested to get to know other ratebeerians, and if you come from an interesting country, we can maybe to an in person beer trade? Contact me!
