Very beautiful restaurant located in downtown Port Louis. Very good food (dish-of-the-day) and a very good selection of craft beers from abroad and - of course - 3 Flying Dodos on tap. The beer shop offers cooled craft beer for take-away. Prices fair.Absolutly worth a visit.

You must rate places for where they are but even if you don’t this place is exceptional. In an old colonial home next to the French Embassy, with a shaded terrace and all-wood interior. A beer shop sits incongruously in the middle but this keeps stuff coolish. Beer arrives monthly from suppliers in Belgium and France and includes whatever on their lists looks interesting and is in stock. Owned by the same sensible, affable beer enthusiast as the Flying Dodo brewery up the way. At the time of writing this is virtually the only place to drink great beers on the island - or anywhere else south of Athens.

An old colonial house converted into a restaurant, a beer shop and a bar. Interior is stylish dark wood and plenty of beer shelves, while the pation is more low key - comfortly shaded by big trees. Beers are mostly British and Belgian, Some French beers as well. No African beers though. The kitchen is quite inventive and really good. I had a kriek marinated pork steak garnished with perfectly cooked vegetables and a fruity sauce served with Kasteel Rouge, The comprehensive menu suggests suitable beers to go with your meal. The uniformed and friendly staff will help you select a beer if you cannot manage on your own. Managed to steer my family to this place for an excursion lunch during our vacation - and I’m really happy that I did. My sister-in-law had an a-ha moment and bought home two bottles of Kasteel Rouge with her. I really loved this place and will definitely go there again on my next visit to Mauritius. Highly recommended!
