Lamplighter is easily the best pub on Jersey. Nice cosy boozer feel to it. They offer the widest selection of cask ale & cider in the Channel Islands to my knowledge. On out visit there was some local stuff in the form of Liberation Herm Island Gold and La Robeline Cidre dé Jèrri. Total amount of casks were 8 with breweries such as Skinners & Ringwood. They also offer a very good whisky selection and we indulged with some of the Japanese & Swedish variety. Visited a couple of times on our visit to the island and had a rather hearty lunch on the Saturday (please note no food on Sunday). If you are in Jersey and need a beer or cider this is your place.

Great pub near the town centre. Great selection of cask ales, one especially brewed for them. Local real cider available. Very nice service. Absolutely worth a stop!

Classic English pub with dark brown interior. TVs and a couple of slot machines. The bar maid at my visit was from Eastern Europe and wasn’t fluent in English. In addition she didn’t like beer.
The selection was good with 8 cask ales and 4 cask ciders, however some of them were served in poor condition from being on for too long. There was plenty of taps with macro beer as well, and it still puzzles me, why most English pubs have so many different industrial lagers on. The food was okay.
I would most certainly return if I find myself on Jersey again. It was easily the best pub I found.

Nice old school proper pub, handily located in St Helier. Several cask beers, mostly Marstons and their stable, a large cider selection, lots of screens for watching sport. A good place to visit when in town.

Good pub in any standards. They have 7 cask ales and one real cider (Jersey Premium Cider) available. Four of the casks were gravity served, 4 handpumped. Skinners Lighter Fuel is their house ale. Staff is mostly Polish. Also very large whisky selection. I visited three times during my stay. Also ate once - good and cheap. Recommended.

The best real ale pub on any of the Islands; this top little pub, very close to the Weighbridge bus station, has around 6 cask ales on at any time with Skinners of Cornwall being regulars as well as Ringwood.
