58 Classic British pub with a few cask ales. Not a lot of local stuff, but a friendly atmosphere makes up for that. |
74 Pub with plenty of real ales (12 taps, partly ciders) as well as bottled beer. Well worth a visit when in Jersey. Can be crowded, though. |

62 A bar I've been to many times, on most occasions it's been extremely busy. Getting to the bar can be a problem. They have a good range of draft beers on tap. On this occasion my Gale's HSB was very much on the warm side for my liking. |
76 Central location in St. Helier, close by Town Church, a short walk from the bus station. The best pub in Jersey, no doubt. A rotating offering of cask ales and ciders, some kegs and bottles. Only drawback was that some of the cask ales and ciders were served warm in the morning. Correct cellar temperature later in the day. Decent food at lunchtime. |
68 The top place to go on the island and best pub in town by far. Superior choice of local beer and cider and fairly unexpected UK offerings. Food good. Small unassuming pub and cosy atmosphere - full of locals but chatty and friendly. Central and easy to get to. |
66 Easily the best pub on the island for our visit. Friendly, open pub in the centre of St Helier, busy with quite a few guest beers from mainland UK. When in Jersey this is the place to go. |
80 This place is a short walk from the ferries. Small and cozy, the first thing you see is a row of 10 or so casks of ales and cuders, and a big board listing them. Continue around to thd side to see an even bigger board of whiskies. They’ll do three thirds for the price of a pint (of ales, not whiskies, sadly) which is the closest thing I’ve found to a flight so far on this UK trip. Very friendly young Romanian girls behind the bar. A must-stop in Jersey. |
72 Lamplighter is easily the best pub on Jersey. Nice cosy boozer feel to it. They offer the widest selection of cask ale & cider in the Channel Islands to my knowledge. On out visit there was some local stuff in the form of Liberation Herm Island Gold and La Robeline Cidre dé Jèrri. Total amount of casks were 8 with breweries such as Skinners & Ringwood. They also offer a very good whisky selection and we indulged with some of the Japanese & Swedish variety. Visited a couple of times on our visit to the island and had a rather hearty lunch on the Saturday (please note no food on Sunday). If you are in Jersey and need a beer or cider this is your place. |
88 Great pub near the town centre. Great selection of cask ales, one especially brewed for them. Local real cider available. Very nice service. Absolutely worth a stop! |
