Sunday 23rd March 2014, watched the place open (at 12:00) and became the first customers of the day. We didn’t go upstairs, preferring the street level option, so no idea what is up there. This is geared to the North American tourist trade, with prices to match. Smart, modern and tidy, the brewing equipment and tanks behind the long bar. 8 of their own brews on offer, no flights, just what seemed like 16oz double thickness chilled sleeves to drink out of. We tried 7 pints and had a taster of the chilli beer at the end. Huge Pizza and very, very good, thin base and plenty of topping. Friendly staff and the beer quality was fine: they were very much my idea of ’American style craft brews’. Meaning they were served too cold and the brewer was trying to make a statement about the ingredients, often adding too much of the chosen flavouring (be they hops, pumpkin or chilli). We liked the joint, sadly the owner (Conner) wasn’t there to chat too. If we had been staying longer we would have used this as our base for nights out. We even bought a T’shirt each.

Hubby said this was an oasis in the desert. As a hop head he settled on Revenge IPA. And the following day we got take aways. Nice labels on the bottle. I felt the glasses could have been smaller but the whole place is geared towards blokes so its not surprising you need to drink big to get through all that beer. If sports screens are your thing, this place is for you. If you are just seeking decent beer in Mexico, opt for the bottles and drink them somewhere where the view and ambience are better.
