Crazy place that’d you’d never think has awesome beer as its located in a run down strip mall. This is a total locals joint and if not for the Cantilon no one would know about. Taking away the Cantillon, there are several excellent beers made just for them and a crazy bottle selection. Its scattered about and hard to find, but there are gems in there. Not worth coming to Helsinki to check this place out, but if you’re there its worth the train ride to take a look.

One of the top-5 pubs, selection-wise, in Finland. Although some 10km from the center of the city, it is easily reached by a ~20min subway ride. They have their own beer import company which supplies other establishments (and even the Finnish monopoly), so the selection is good. You can exepect rarer things on tap, and strange ones on bottle. Medium/small in size with a plain interior and friendly staff. Boardgames and magazines.

A cool pub outside of the city. Crowded and more of a bar than a pub. That being said, great selection, friendly staff, well worth the metro ride. Still had the Blue label in bottles, yes sir.......

Wish it was closer to home!

As stated by everyone, a very weird location, but an excellent selection. Just don’t get drunk and start on the unbelievable malt selection, your bank account really won’t like that...

The best selection in Finland in a very odd location in a sleepy suburban mall. About a dozen taps, rarities in bottles (also whiskies). Often themed weeks with guest beers on tap. Knowledgeable and friendly bartenders. During the day very quiet, few people, no music. Though very crowded on weekend nights.

An out of the way beer place, but probably the best one in Helsinki, maybe whole of Finland. Excellent selection, rotating taps, knowledgeable and friendly bartenders that’ll go out of their way to oblige you, if you just ask them. Will talk shop if not too busy. Value is good for a Helsinki-situated place. Ambiance is a bit lacking though. It’s a bit of a dank area, the place itself is small, filled to the brim and loud. At least on a Friday evening. Probably better during the day.

Out of the way in Helsinki, hidden in a residential area, lies this treasure chest of whiskeys... and beers. Walls lined with so many vintages (I believe the number was at least 500 in the bar with a few hundred more in storage?). Beer selection was great, best selection of Stone I’ve found in the Nordic countries by far. Was lucky enough to score the Cantillon brewed especially for the location. Each visit I’ve made was met with excellent service. World class.

This place was brilliant. Thank goodness for RateBeer reviewers or I would have thought I was in the wrong place when I got off the metro! It really is next door to the supermarket, in a housing estate. Had a great selection of beer and scotch, service was knowledgeable. Wish I could have made a repeat visit!

Neat spot, helsinki kind of sucked; this was the highlight. Wasn’t hard to get to, not far out of the city and a quick ride on the metro. Unassuming decor, sat outside with a few patio tables and furniture. The staff helped Kevin a lot, I sat and waited. Good selection much of which is made exclusively for this spot. If you are in Helsinki, try to leave asap but stop here while stuck.
