The is a small shop unit with its back to the Menai Strait, facing the road in the quaint town that lends its name to the waterway. This was once just a bottle shop, but as tourists demanded more from it they have branched out into furniture and other gifts. The bottles are still here though, although probably not as aplenty as before given its just a few metres squared in size. German and Belgian ales were available, however they also have a couple of their own house brews for sale too, which are no longer brewed by the owners but contracted out to a brewer on the mainland.

Excellent new beer shop run by a very helpful and knowledgeable chap who is always happy to discuss and recommend beers. Stocks quite uncommon beers, both British and imported, including a particularly good Belgian selection. A smaller selection of excellent ciders is also available.

Friendly and knowledgeable guy behind the till whos enthusiasm is infectious regarding the numerous beers and ales available. I am always willing to buy the odd bottle solely on his reccomendation but have been unlucky with sourcing the Otley Portrer as it seems to disappear as soon as it arrives!
