A nice airy, ambient real ale pub. This reminds me a lot of the sort of country cub you find in England. The service was very friendly and quite efficient. A selection of an impressive 8 cask ales (well kept from my experience) plus some of the usual mainstream mono-pub nonsense, The food seemed quite good at first but subsequently felt stodgey and high in saturated fats. The value is good for Edinburgh and overall, a good experience.

A decent old fashioned pub with about 8 cask ales available. Food is traditional pub style and is reasonably priced. Worth a visit if your in the area.

nice pub with an amazing view. You can drink at the sunset with a pint and relax. I love it. A little bit away from the touristic area, you can have also good food. I enjoied here and suggest to try.

A favourite of many visitors to Edinburgh, this marvellous old waterside pub is now owned by Greene King following their takeover of Belhaven but, so far at least, seems to be showing no signs of decline in beer range. Serves several Belhaven brews alongside four guest beers, the No.16 and 32 buses pass by outside or Nos 7 and 10 go from the roundabout five minutes walk to the east making it easy to get either into the city centre or over to Leith.
