Brewpub was moved from Škultétyho street to new location.

Ok selection of beers from Slovak and Czech Republic, also IPA’s but they didn’t have any house brews.

In comparison with other brewpubs in bratislava this one seems small. Looks like they changed location in last few months. Now, near town center in Vysoka street. Another new thing was that they didn’t have any house brews, just few guest beers (Zlatovar, Poutnik, Kaltenecker, etc.). Around 10 pm place was full and kitchen didn’t work, but we managed to persuade waiter to make us Utopenec. Reasonable prices and not so fast service.

I visit Starosloviensky pivovar in a Vysoká 15, Bratislava. They change address. There is very beautiful. I taste typical slovak food soup demikat and grilled parenica. Super. And I taste beer Pressburg 11, Weizenbier Svijany, Skalak 11.

Situated at the rear of a shopping mall and doesn’t look too good from the outside but have faith. it’s a delightful tiny producer with just the one half svetly/tmavy on offer which was fruity and tasty. We didn’t eat but it looked like fairly basic pub grub.Trolley bus routes 201/204/209/210 pass close by as do trams 2 and 4

RBESG 2012 - day 2. Not too appealing from the outside, but decent enough indoors. The medieval chairs wer enotable. Good classic food. There was one good beer on, and it wasn’t their own...

Now you are in the PJ’s. Maad ugly surroundings and the beers were nothing to travel for. Food was bland. A homebrew which was something like a 1,3 rating. On one of their taps they Had Oslovany 10 unfiltered in decent condition. Not a place worth travelling for.

Visited during RBESG’12. Located in a shabby neighbourhood. They have a patio but it doesn’t look appealing. Inside has sturdy tables and chairs, medieval-style. Only 1 of their own beers on tap, the "special" which was a failed kit-brew. Food was decent, although I didn’t expect my "mixed plate" to be cold. Wouldn’t go here again.

What a strange place... Decor like you’re in a school theatre project, and there is indeed a theatre attached to this place. The food is classic (apparently) Slovakian, which I applaud, and it was tasty as well. Both the food an beer is very cheap. However, the quality of the 2 offered beers was pretty low, home brew kit style.

Surrounded by projects, it looks so much nicer on the inside than from the outside. Didn’t mind the atmosphere. Nor the spruce beer that everyone else hated. The Oslavany ten was a nice touch too. But they only have 1-2 beers, which is nothing even if they ARE rare. The service was ok, but apparently there were complications with the management. Oh well. Not essential but one day it might end up like that.... The toilet’s fun here too, in an adjoining area, that’s apparently a theater... Impossible to explain. Good wifi! The food was cheaper than elsewhere, but good... My duck thigh with potato pancakes and red cabbage wad tasty but swimming in unneeded fat. The cold plate Rob ordered had some really nice cheese. That’s it.

New brewpub in Bratislava. They have so far 1 house beer (and some in house radlers), but want to extend selection. Food is focused on traditional Slovak kitchen, but I didn’t eat there. Staff is quick and polite. Much better than owners.
