When we visit Manuel Antonio I tend to come here and drop too many colones on Guinness Foreign Extra and Duvel. It is one of the better bottled selections you’ll find in CR, for whatever that’s worth, and that is pretty unusual for a touristy area. And very useful. Incidentally I once found a cheap Costa Rica souvenir nonic pint glass here. I love that stupid glass and I haven’t seen another like it since.

regular old super market setup on the way from Quepos to Manuel Antonio, stopped in to pick up some Pilsen tall-boys for the beach and found a cooler in the back full of Paulaner, Guinness, Duvel and other imports, which is a surprisingly good selection for anywhere in Costa Rica.
