Stayed here many times over the years, this time was not different. As the others have said it is nothing if it was not here. They have all macros and on German Hefe, which I had to ask for. But hey think about where you are.

Dismal beer selection, but of course expectations are low in this part of the world. Staff is usually pretty good, and food was tasty. Hey, at least you can get beer here, and even the room drudges has the NA stuff.

Large room on second level of hotel, with exterior entrance with metal detector. Dozens of comfortable armchairs and lounges. Lots of silent flat-screen TV showing football matches. Long bar with pooltable at rear of room. Smoking allowed everywhere and customers clothes will smell like an ashtray upon leaving. Draught beer (Amstel) quality varies by the keg/day. Canned Backs, plus the usual Amstel and Heinekin, plus Corona.. Beers around 5-6 JD. Half price for happy hour. some staff attentive, some not. Staff often outnumber customers. Loud excessive bass beat common to Amman clubs, circa 1980 in the civilized world. Nice comfortable place to watch the game and converse with friends, if out of range of the sound system and chain smokers. Food was untried.
