Stop #3 on my recent Bangalore craftbeer tour with local JJ Eapen (Tales of Froth) & Friends. Great building and layout...hard to get bored here...3 or 4 floors...multiple rooms, bars, balconies. Very good food too. The place is popular and you often have to wait for a table...so plan ahead. The beers are above average...not great...but certainly very good (had samplers of them all). This is a fun place and as an Indian craftbeer bar...a step above many others...but still far short of their potential. Nonetheless, I highly recommend a visit here...and reserve judgment for yourself. My rating is with respect to other India craftbeer establishments...but not the same as ratings I would give in the US due the to much higher level of competition and need to distinguish ones self and raise your level of quality to succeed there.

Very Nice place. Nice selection of 7 beers. 6 standard and one special. the beers are decent and definately worth a try. Cool and relexed interior, which reminds a bit of a British pub with an Indian twist. Service is good, and the food we tried had good standard.

A very nice place with a nice variaty of beer. Not the most exciting beer, and several of the selection was not available. Food was good, and in nice quantities. Ambiance reminded me of a british pub (indian stile).

The second microbrewery in Bangalore and one that has become so popular, itís almost impossible to get a table on weekends without a reservation. Perhaps thatís the reason the service can seem, at times, a bit frazzled.
On to the beers then, there are six on tap. Give the Basmati Blonde a miss, itís nothing special. The Tintin Toit and Weiss are both good summer beers - Light, refreshing, with strong citrus overtones. and excellent head. The best beer here though is the Colonial Red - a proper ale, with every sip full of flavour and the hops packing a punch. The flavours are very earthy, cherry-like and itís as close to a British ale youíll get in the old colony!
The food at Toit is excellent, be it bar food like the minced beef in potato jackets, chicken nachos and potato skins with bacon or the amazing thin crust pizzas. Another thing worth trying here are the communal cocktails...massive goblets with 6-8 cocktails in them to be shared through straws. A nice concept.
My biggest gripe with Toit is that they never seem to have all 6 beers on tap at once. The Tintin toit in particular, is always in short supply.
Still, if youíre in Bangalore, this is a must visit place - pretty people, great beer, raucous atmosphere - it has it all.
