70 Nice mix of bottle shop and deli bar, with an inviting interior. They have some interesting beers from Austria, that are quite hard to find in Vienna, while the selection isn’t extensive. The international range would have been special for Vienna a few years ago, but not nowadays, there are better and cheaper beer stores for international craft beer meanwhile. Actually the prices are the biggest downside, quite expensive, also the Austrian stuff. Staff is friendly and helpful and also seems quite knowledgable. Didn’t try the food, but it looked and smelled very good. Overall not among my favourite bottle shops in Vienna, but recommended anyway. |
68 Its a mix between a deli style food place and a little in eatery. They have a selection but prices are a bit steep. But I guess most people eat and drink there. Overall they have some beers that are not available anywhere else. If you consider the prices at a normal restaurant or bar they are quite OK. Unfortunatly also time I went there I forgot to ask if they do lower prices for take away (but in all honesty I doubt it). Overall if you are nearby have a look, but its basically the most expensive place in Vienna to consider for beer shopping. |
72 Quite good selection of mainly Austrian, German and beer from Belgium but also BrewDog, beers from Scandinavia and other regions available. Beers are quite pricey. |
86 Eclectic little deli on Josefstädterstrasse in the 8th district. They have a rotating stock of predominantly German and Austrian options, with a recent addition of some Belgian beers. The owner is extremely helpful and always provides top notch service. Interesting selection of international foods in addition to the beer; they also make some tasty snacks and small meals too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. |
