Typical lame-ass airport bar with typical outrageous airport pricing (9 bucks a pint) - itís nice that they have a couple NoDa beers on tap, but other than that there is nothing exciting - connected to the California Pizza Kitchen for some reason, so they present you a food menu as if it were their own, but in actuality it just lists pizzaís from the pizza kitchen - lots of exposes wires and ductwork hanging from the ceiling is super charming - bartender was pleasant enough for having to deal with annoying-ass airport customers - hey, itís a chance to get a craft beer at the airport - you canít really expect anything more from an airport bar, can you?

Smallish place in terminal B. Decent selection of local craft on tap, including the two best from NoDa. They also do a four beer sampler (fixed by the bartender) for $9. Food mostly seems to come from California pizza kitchen next door, which is odd given then name of the place.

Located in Terminal B. Taste of Carolinaís a pretty small, cookie cutter-looking bar connected to a California Pizza Kitchen. Thereís a couple of locals from Old Mecklenburg brewery on tap in addition to the regular cast of BMC stuff. Cans of Hop Drop ín Roll were also on sale for about $7, which is a great deal for an airport. My bartender was friendly. Overall, a decent pit stop as far as airport bars go.

Located in terminal B I stopped for Mid trip pizza from California pizza kitchen next door and a few beers here, 7 total craft on tap and a much bigger place the the one located in terminal d. Noda hop drop and roll was excellent and quinched my thirst. Will be back.

When I visited: Late March 2014.
What I had: NoDa Hop, Drop íN Roll IPA (draught), Natty Greeneís Wildflower Witbier (sample), Dakota Smashed Pea & Barley Soup, Italian Chopped Salad and Original BBQ Chicken Pizza to split.
What I liked: Plenty of seating, nice cozy table overlooking the runway and bar, quick and affable service, my girlfriend liked the music, well laid out beer and food menus, IPA was outstanding.
What I disliked: Lukewarm food was mediocre and merely served as "fuel" for the day, drink options are solid for an airport bar but limited by conventional standards, no prices listed on the beer menu.
Would I go back? If I ever have a layover at Charlotte Douglas again, yes.

Stopped in during layover. Had a nice NoDa beer (Jam Session). Just what you would expect at an airport. Will give them credit for serving local beers. Did not try any food from next door. Prices typical for an airport location.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat - itís next to, and connected to the California Pizza Kitchen - a number of Carolina beers on tap, nothing spectacular, but certainly worth hitting if youíre not from the area and want a few NC beers. Staff was quick, nice. You can get a flight of beer - though you donít get a choice in the selection.

Another quick stop in CLT for food and beverages, with a different tap selection than Carolina Beer Company. The food is served from next-door neighbor California Pizza Kitchen. Friendly, prompt staff.

Visited during a longer layover. Offered 6 local craft beers draft, plus a handful of macros. They offer 20 oz, 12 oz and a sampler pours. The food is sandwiches and Pizza from the next door California Pizza Kitchen. A bit crowded up front, though there is fair amount of seating around the back. Service was prompt enough, beer freshness was decent. Overall, good place to grab a couple of local brews during a layover.

A bar thatís in Terminal B of the Charlotte Airport. Pretty much the same as the Carolina Beer Co in Terminal D, only with more space (and therefore a better atmosphere) and food (which I didnít try).
