Excellent beer selection (over 100 bottles on menu) about 5 or so on tap. Food is tex-mex. been there numerous times and tried many different things. never been dissappointed. Chili is really good. Service is friendly and prompt.

Great little restaurant offers Mexican and south western cuisine. Has over a hundred beers to choose from a lot of staples with a few off the path selections. Not much of a tap selection most their beers are from bottle. They usually have live music on weekends.

Very nice bottle list - about 150 beers. This is truly the only beer bar on Staten Island that I know of. It is a 25-min walk from the Ferry terminal, or instead, take the S40 bus to the corner of Richmond Terrace & Lafayette Ave, then walk 1 block away from the water. I could see how some might like this more than Killmeyer’s, though I prefer Killmeyer’s bavarian old world ambiance (even though Killmeyer’s has only about 40 beers). Adobe is a southwestern restaurant with friendly staff. Sadly, their beer menu prints ratings from BeerAdvocate and not RateBeer.

Being the only active Staten Island ratebeerian (even thought I have moved), I should talk about htis place. IMO its better than Killmeyers. Selection changes more often and the bartender knows more about beer. Basically, its a tex-mex restaurant with a decent beer selction. Only 5 taps, change and usually see Newcastle, Guiness, and Woodchuck cider. Those types but once in a while they get a Magic Hat or something similar (had6points once). The bottles are about 150 standard (menu says 180 but its wrong). I mean your basic good beer store selection. But there is a chalk board of recent arrivals. That changes monthly. This is what makes it nice. the service is great there which is very hard to say for some other places. I like the food, its Tex Mex and hard to mess up. I suggest giving this a shot over Killmeyers if your unfortunately stuck on the island.
