7stern (1), Bromma, Sweden does not count - explanation | | February 6, 2012 Few places anywhere with matching selection. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Not to be missed. | | D_i (10), , Germany | | January 31, 2012 Superb selection of beers from all over the world, nice atmosphere. Food and service was OK. | | cpetrone84 (32), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | January 12, 2012 Was here 3 nights and closed it out each of those 3 nights. The wait staff was actually extremely friendly and catered to our every need. The bar itself was pretty cool looking with some great outdoor seating. The selection of vintage lambic was incredible and priced accordingly. Very expensive evenings. The food was fine to help keep us drinking, nothing special but had mostly smaller snacks to hold us over through the long tastings. Sven hung out for a while and gave us a tour of the cellar. Best in the world for sure! Awesome spot! | kryon (1), , Sweden does not count - explanation | | January 3, 2012 Really nice friendly and welcommy atmospere. Rustic. Bar and restaurant separated. Very good selection of beers if you ask for it | | Nisse666 (62), Göteborg, Sweden | | December 29, 2011 Easy to find but with a lagging GPS it was a bit difficult in Tullen, but a U-turn fixed it for us ( not legal). So easy to accsess with car - doe no parking free in the nighbourghood. Any staff was friendly, very skilled (the girl poured like a queen. No problem to order samples (only one tiny remark there, no pricelist/price strategy. Loads ofnice beers on tap, house ales a new Cantillon each week, 4 real ales, great cuvee list (didn’t explore that it yet). | | blafa (10), Helsingborg, Sweden | | December 8, 2011 Best cuveé menu in the world should say it all. But the tap beers are always interesting, the staff friendly and helpful and the food fantastic. I find this to be probably the best beer bar I’ve ever visited. | CLEN01 (1), Stockholm, Sweden does not count - explanation | | November 15, 2011 Bra öl & whisky-ställe | | Hoser (136), Cowtown, Alberta | | November 7, 2011 If in Stockholm this place is a must visit. Great beer, great service and great food. Thank you to all for the nice evening. If the elevators are working maybe ask to see the beer cellars. | | MrChopin (89), Baltimore, Maryland | | November 6, 2011 Was in Stockholm for three days and closed Akkurat on all three. The austere, dark-wooded restaurant is packed with talkers, very lively though the bar not so much, the staff cheery and accommodating as we worked our way through the vintage list until after close each night - they never rushed us out even as they locked up and cleaned up. Sven stopped work to share beer with us and show us the cellar, then sat with us at our table for a while, chatting and drinking. Snack foods decent, often on the house. The bottle selection is the best in the world, not hard to decide on that.
It may be cool to hate on wanting rare lambics, but I enjoyed my time there immensely, and I’d put two of the three nights we spent there among the best drinking nights of my life despite whatever was going on around us. |
