Was last here a couple of years ago, I think the range is not as big as it was. Still plenty past the used buy. But, comparative to the average Sydney bottleshop it’s still good. It would be nice to not have to freeze off the proberials to view the selection, especially this time of year. Also going back 5 years to mullet’s rating, I also got "sir"-ed all the way out the door; off putting.

Decent selection of beers, though on my last visit they really needed to re-stock. Loads of beers past their best before date, even some of the more common premiums beers were a bit long in the tooth. There is a sticker on one of the racks saying you should disregard the best before dates on beers, as many beers tend to get better of up to two years after their best before date! Lying scum!!! So many punters must give a few randoms from their large selection a go just to be disappointed. I like the selection, but their attitude towards the quality of their wares really sucks.

bring a jacket! if the loot wasnt in the cool room i would have been there for hours, well, more hours i suppose :) big range - wine and spirits too, good parking. glasses for sale at pretty decent prices. staff seemed disinterested.

This has been around for a long time and it has always impressed with a good array of beers. There is nothing there these days that I haven’t tried but for the average punter out there who wants to try something different they will not be disappointed. Valuewise this is a good place too as the bulk prices are quite competitive. Their wine selection deserves a mention too as they have good quality and value offerings. The food there only ever consists of a packet of pork rinds but these are very good

Rerate 13/07/06. A word of warning to anyone planning a visit: the beers here can be up to two years past their ’Best by’ date, so check everything before you buy it. The dreadful fruit Hopper range was pulled years ago but you can still find it on the shelf here at time of writing. Big black mark against them because they have no qualms about selling old beer. Original rate: The biggest range of beers I’ve found in Sydney (cunningly tucked away in a cold room - look for a door in the wall of wine fridges). Broad selection of the better-known Belgians and Brits, but nothing very unusual. Great place to visit to fill in the gaps or if you’re starting out. Plenty of Australian offerings, although again nothing unexpected.

Kind of warehouse type joint - to get single bottles you have to go and freeze your arse off in the fridge which is annoying. Lots of beers by Australian standard but nothing particularly rare. Bizarre pricing too - $10 for a Fullers ESB??? I think I got called sir about ten times in thirty seconds whilst checking out, which was a bit off-putting.
