Very nice place with a huge collection of beer from all over the world, included Westvleteren.

One of my two favorite places to get good beer in Oslo (the other being Schouskjelleren). Nice people working here, good changeover on the taps, an extensive bottled selection. The beers made here are overall pleasant, and from time to time they make a real winner. The food is matched to the beers, you get a good beer pairing if you ask, and they make my favorite onion soup ever. Value is not really applicable, this is Norway after all and you’ll feel like you’re being robbed no matter whether you’re a tourist or you live here.

Ambiance is good, quiet day, but the mood is good, service is not that good, its my 5-6 time here and everytime it seems like the vaiter is "just on work", this time we are to people that ask for menu, we got one, and she did not give any recommendation, this is a beer place, please guide us and have fun with the big selection :) did not have food this time, but tried that before, and that is good :)

A place to visit in Oslo. Some own beers and some others. Nice selection of vintage trappist and fine vintage beer. The food is nice.

Heretter blir det Amundsens på meg de gangene jeg besøker Oslo (men har ikke prøvd Schoukjelleren ennå). Godt utvalg både fra fat og på flasker, og betjeningen er imøtekommende og har kunnskap om ølene de selger.

The best collection of beers in Oslo. The staff is knowledgable and helpsome, when you get their attention. The food is rather good, but I go there for the beer, not the grubb. There is almost always something new on tap every week. Don’t change their own brewed beer that often though.

A Nice place to dry some nice beer from a new Microbrewery in Oslo! had been ther 2 times, for a short stop, and it was werry nice beer, nice staff, who now there beer. I will come back next time Im in Oslo

Initially a nice brewpub, but the location just generates a tourist trap and the sports pub profile with televisions sets does not attract me. Their own beer is on the safer side but that’s really no problem as the general beer selection is more than decent. Some occasionally special treasures on tap and a pretty good selection of rare quality vintage beers that seems to be their special focus for the more demanding beer enthusiasts. Older Chimay, Westvleteren, Thomas Hardy and Geuze is normally in the cellar, a bit stiff price but this is stuff you normally don’t find too easy anywhere else in Norway. Tilquin on tap is also a treat. Have only been eating there three times, but no disappointments there either. Staff is friendly and most of them knowledgeable about their beers. Room for some improvements but all in all a place you should visit when in town. Among the top 5 beer spots in Oslo IMO.

Please bring back the mash to the stock fish, not so nice with the plain potatoes. Note: The entrance is in Roald Amundsens gate, different from postal address.
