Visited on my last trip to Chicago (August 2012).

Realized when I walked up that this place is right next door to Delilahs which is the place I heard about a bunch of times for their lambic festival. The two places couldnt be more different as Atlas is clean and almost respectable looking.

I got two flights and tried a dozen beers. Some of the hoppy ones were pretty good. The rest were either decent or at least interesting. The bartender was pretty nice too and made for some pleasant conversation.

Prices were about right for the amount of beer that I got. Will stop in next time to see what’s new and to check out the bar next door.

Nice set up with a bar, dining room and attached bowling, cool design. The food is pretty good, I’d come back for that more than I would the beer. Diversey pale ale is solid, everything else is subpar. Hopefully they grow their beers a bit or this could be in jeopardy of going way.

Okay, the food was amazing, although a bit pricey. Their beer is good, but as far as selection goes, it’s almost exclusively their beer. But they offer growlers. Very quick, and kind, friendly service. All-in-all a very solid place.

Nice small, modern space. Slow at 12:15 on a Saturday. 6 beers on tap, 4 basic styles and 2 bigger beers. Connected to a bowling alley, Had salad and pizza as part of a group and both were mediocre, the actual menu looked limited, but interesting.

Great beer, limited by good food selection, nicely laid out but small space. Nice and attentive bartenders. Welcome to the city!

Stopped in here a couple days after they first tapped their beers. The space is kind of strange, mix of the bar, weird banquettes, normal tables and a long communal table. Kind of has that LP vibe as well, but whatever. They had 8 of their own on tap and maybe 3-4 others. Good selection of bottles/cans as well. The food was pretty decent, nothing amazing but nothing shitty either. Service left something to be desired. Will probably come back in a couple of months and see how things have progressed. Even still, nice to have another brewpub pop up in town. Also, a couple doors down from Delilah’s as well.
