56 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 2/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 Elwood (97) Leesburg, Virginia | April 25, 2012 Well, there isn’t much on tap, but how bad can it really be if it’s in Aruba? Listen, there’s no "rare" or barrel aged here, but there is plenty of sun, cold beer, and nice people. A plus any time. | 68 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Leafs93 (100) Conshohocken, Pennsylvania | January 18, 2011 The Beer Garden is a great spot on Aruba. We missed the tour but sat down for a burger and a few cold Balashi’s. Your on a beautiful island with perfect weather, what more could you ask for. Rating suffers due to only two beers being on tap. | 54 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 10/20 SpringsLicker (120) Tennessee | February 1, 2010 The Balashi brewery is about 10 miles out of town heading east towards the airport on the only highway. Everyone knows where it is, although there is no "official" address. The beer garden is just across the highway from the main brewery, behind one of the out buildings. It’s not too hard to find, and there are signs if you are careful to look for them. The lunch menu is simple, and ranges from local pork and fish dishes to hamburgers. They also open for breakfast. The clientele is a mix of tourists and locals. Daily specials iare written on the chalkboard. Go up to the bar, place your order, then choose a table under the umbrellas.
